Me Too Springfield affirms that empowering people with the tools necessary to change social norms is essential to establishing a safer community. We accomplish this through educational initiatives, including comprehensive sex education courses, consent training, and rape culture awareness. With transparency and robust communication, Me Too Springfield utilizes partnerships and resources to offer support and community to local survivors.
- 98/sec someone is sexually assaulted.

- 6/1000 rapists will go to prison
Sexual assault affects hundreds of thousands of people every year in different ways; whether it be emotional, psychological, and/or physical. According to RAINN.org, we are making progress - the number of assaults has fallen by more than half since 1993. However, there is still so much more work to be done. Only 6 out of every 1,000 rapists will end up in prison. We're working to change that number. Rainn.org
